Elena Marie Jahr

Doctoral Candidate
University of Tübingen

I studied interdisciplinary sciences at ETH Zurich, where I developed a strong interest in quantum and theoretical chemistry. This led me to pursue doctoral studies in theoretical chemistry, focusing on nuclear dynamics in analytical models of environment-mediated electron attachment mechanisms. I enjoy deriving intuitive models using analytical approaches and implementing them computationally.

Experience

Doctoral degree — University of Tübingen

Including nuclear dynamics in interparticle Coulombic electron capture — an environment-enabled electron attachment process. Co-organized 50-participant conference on Electron Capture in an environment. Supervised a hands-on quantum chemistry methods course.
